Currently, in far too many sensitive jurisdictions, employees and visitors alike are free to roam. People are neither screened, monitored nor inspected in any way. Doors are not monitored and access is not surveilled. Too often, garages and other entrances provide free ingress.
At minimum, a basic electronic control system prevents unauthorized access and better accountability. Considerations are basic ID Badges, proprietary keyways, UL approved fire approved crash bars, employee access cards and anti-pick plates that protect locking mechanisms and prevent tampering.
