Intrusion Detection

Intrusion prevention systems are complicated, highly varied and absolutely essential for any organization that values its intellectual property and confidentiality of its information systems. Intrusion solutions are as diverse as the companies they serve. Generally, most organization evaluate the need for any one of four different kinds of systems: Network-based system (NIPS; wireless intrusion prevention (WIPS); network behavior analysis (NBA); and host-based system (HIPS).

The basis of most selection systems are devices and software applications that can monitor malicious activity, bad patterns like malware and suspicious traffic. Almost always, we recommend the placement of an event management system (SIEM)that can recognize the difference between suspicious intrusions and false alarms.
